Whether you're coming alone or together, the work is collaborative, paced, and built around what's actually happening for you.

MEET YOUR THERAPIST

Hi, I'm Alex. I'm warm, I'm real, and I will absolutely laugh with you if something is funny.

I work with individuals and couples who want more than a checklist. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in genuine human connection.

Slow down. Get curious. Find what's been there all along.

Most of us have parts of ourselves we've pushed aside because they didn't feel safe to look at. That's usually where the most meaningful work begins.

The work isn't about being handed a plan. It's about slowing down enough to notice what's actually happening beneath the surface — the patterns you keep bumping into, the parts of yourself you've set aside, the ways you relate to the people you love that feel stuck even when you want them to be different.

I work from a trauma-informed, relational foundation, using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples and a collaborative, curiosity-driven approach with individuals. The pace is yours. And there's room here for honesty, complexity, and occasionally for humor.

Open Room Therapy is built with room for the complexity of identity.

LGBTQIA+ affirming care is foundational to this practice, not a checkbox. If you've spent time shrinking yourself in other spaces, you don't have to do that here.
